Here’s a quick rundown of what they need: a warm, humid enclosure kept between 21-30°C, both a fresh and a salt water bowl, a deep substrate for burrowing, a few spare shells for when they moult and grow, and some decorations for enrichment. They’re nocturnal, low-maintenance, and generally easy to look after once set up correctly.
Our hermit crabs are sourced from tropical regions closer to the equator and brought here to Sydney for sale, so they arrive well-suited to a warm, humid environment.
