Is There Parking at Birdsville?
Yes. There’s parking out the front of Birdsville, plus on street parking nearby.
That makes it easy to load up a cage, a big bag of seed or a carry cage with your new pet. If the spots out the front are taken, you’ll usually find on street parking in the surrounding streets.
What Can You Find at Birdsville?
Birdsville stocks birds, small animals, reptiles and everything they need, plus premium dog, cat and fish supplies.
Inside our two level, climate controlled store you’ll find hand raised birds, small animals and reptiles, along with Australia’s largest avian range: seed, pellets, cages, toys, perches, health care and breeding supplies. Our own Birdsville Blends seed mixes (https://birdsville.net.au/birdsville-blends/) are made fresh in store. We’re a small business that does things in a big way. Nobody tells us how to run things, so we keep our products the best of the best. Our seed and Birdsville Blends are very high quality, and we recommend avoiding many chain store mixes, as their low quality grains and filler seed affect the health and vitality of your birds.

If you’re coming in for a particular bird, reptile or animal, call us on (02) 9669 1766 before you head over. Many of our birds are seasonal, and some are only available a few times a year, so a quick call means you won’t miss out. We can often put a deposit on the next one for you.
Bringing a Pet Home in Sydney’s Weather
If you’re collecting a bird or small animal, bring a carry cage or box, and plan for the weather.
In summer, keep the air conditioning on in the car, never leave your pet in a parked car, and head straight home, as Sydney’s hot days can be dangerous for small animals. In winter, cover the carry cage to keep out cold draughts. We sell carry cages in store (https://birdsville.net.au/carry-cages/) if you need one.
