Cockatoos, such as Galahs, Corellas, Major Michelle, Red Tail Black as well as your Sulphur Crested, can be give an all you can eat buffet when they are young, but once they reach 9 months age of age, you must be careful what and how much you feed them and reduce or eliminate sunflower seeds as they are very oily.
Cockatoos should be feed a range of seed, pellets and fruit and vegetables. If your bird is not being feed pellets, their diet must be supplemented with vitamins that can be added in to the water, if they are on pellets, the pellets have the vitamins in them. They should also have a source of calcium and iodine, by either a calcium/iodine perch or in the water.
Fruit and vegetables includes Sweet Potatoes, Carrot, Corn, Spinach, Bean, Cauliflower, Broccoli, Rockmelon, Apples, Oranges, Kiwi Fruit, and so on. Pretty much any fruit and vegetables except onion, avocado and lettuce.
Avigrain Cocky Mix
Contains: Wheat, Grey Striped Sunflower, Oats, Cracked Corn, Sorghum, French White Millet and/or Safflower.
Coarse grains based mix for the large parrot types.
Birdsville Cocky Mix
Contains: Wheat, Sorghum, Corn, Dun Peas, Safflower, Oats, Hulled Oats, Mung Beans and/or Banana Chips.

Avigrain Small Parrot

Grey Striped Sunflower
Grey Striped Sunflower Seeds are lower in fats and oils compare to Black Sunflower Seeds. When the cockatoos are young, it is important that they have Grey Striped Sunflowers as part of their diet, but as they become older it does need to be reduce.
Safflower
Safflower Seeds look very simular to Sunflower Seeds except for the colour. They contain proteins, nutrients and carbohydrates.

Contains: Grey Striped Sunflower, Safflower, Banana Chips, Raw Peanuts, Almonds, Peanuts in Shell, Coconut Chips, Paw-Paw, Snow White Punpkin Seeds, Chillis, Dried Mango and/or Dried Apple.
